Unlike some others, our Status aluminium bifolds are only supplied as a complete package. In other words, they come with everything you need pre-machined, pre-glazed and ready-to-assemble. You might find similar looking, cheaper door sets but they don’t include all the items you need - whereas our Ready to Assemble Sets offer you many advantages

- Doors and frames clearly labelled for easy identification.
- Pre-glazed, tow and heeled in our factory, meaning an experienced fitter is not required.

The Vufold Status range of aluminium French doors are high performing yet affordable with no compromise on quality or efficiency. Boasting some of the narrowest sightlines on the market, with a glass to glass sightline of only 166mm, giving you a larger glass area, this black, double/triple glazed, 1.2M, French doors are sleek and contemporary in looks.
The Status range has a polyamide thermal break between the aluminium sections to give an impressive thermal efficiency of 1.4 W/m2K (double) / 1.1 W/m2K (triple). The Status is independently weather tested to the highest UK standard to make sure the cold stays out and the heat stays in.
For maximum security, the black aluminium 1.2m Status French doors have a multi-point locking system that passes the rigorous PAS 24 certification.
Vufold's unique manufacturing techniques allow the glazed units to be installed during factory production including perfect 'toe and heel' balancing. This allows for easy and fast installation by any builder or competent DIY'er.

Our delivery times vary, depending on time of year and demand, each product listing will tell you the current lead time for your order. Once we despatch your doors most of our customers will receive them in 3 working days, if you are in an outlying area it will be 5 working days. You'll get an email when we've despatched your door to our two man delivery service, they will contact you direct usually by text with a delivery slot to let you know when the doors will arrive.

What is the guarantee?
Status doors come with a 15 year guarantee.
How high is the threshold?
The threshold if not using a drip sill is 30mm and 50mm with a drip sill. Detailed frame section drawings and dimensions can be found in the 'Downloads And Manuals' tab of the product info.
Do Vufold do installation?
Vufold do not offer an installation service all our sets are designed to be easily installed by a local tradesperson or competent DIYer.
What is the sightline?
Status French door glass to glass sightline is only 166mm.
