Product Description
The Smart Signature Abbey Square Cotswold Green aluminium front door and frame feature a 60mm door leaf in a double rebated outer frame.
All doors comply with PAS 24 in line with Approved Document Q security regulations, multi-point lock, 3-star cylinder (Anti-drill, anti-snap) and laminated glass are standard.*
Vufold aluminium front doors are supplied ready to install** with a full fitting kit. Your new door will arrive fully factory assembled with the door fitted in the frame.
A lever lever handle is supplied as standard, upgraded hardware can be selected in the configure and buy section.

• Architectural lever handles - Stainless steel and graphite
• Long Bar Handle - Single or Double long tubular stainless steel bar handle(s), stainless steel escutcheon, thumb turn cylinder and auto slam lock.***

*PAS 24 achieved on all aluminium doors without letter plates. Speak to our Sales Team should PAS 24 be required with a letter plate.
**Drip sill and Lever/long bar handles are removed for safe transportation and will need re-attaching before installation.
***All slam locks feature an auto latch feature for added security. Please be aware, certain users may find it more difficult to operate an auto slam lock compared to a manual lock due to operation of thumb turn cylinder only and lacking a traditional lever handle.
Please Note: All sizes requested, relate to the manufactured outer frame dimensions. We recommend deducting 10mm less in height and width from your finished structural opening sizes to calculate your overall outer frame size required. Any order placed for bespoke / customisable items or product(s), which includes Signature Front Door, cannot be amended or cancelled.

How easy are aluminium doors to install?
Aluminium doors have a straightforward installation process, comparable to that of wooden or PVC-U doors. Though there might be slight variations in the installation steps, the fundamental principles remain consistent. The lightweight and robust nature of aluminium prevent warping issues seen in wood and make it more manoeuvrable compared to PVC-U during the installation process.

Aluminium doors are very low maintenance. A simple cleaning routine with mild detergent and water, along with periodic lubrication of hinges and locks, is typically all that's needed to preserve their excellent condition. Be cautious of abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may harm the surface finish.
How does a front door slam lock/auto lock work?
Unlike traditional multipoint locks, doors fitted with a slam lock/auto lock don’t use the handle action to engage the extra security bolts/hooks. The action of just closing the door automatically activates the engagement of the extra security bolts/hooks. As soon as the door is closed it is fully secure.
How to measure up for a front door?
Below you will find a basic guide on how to measure your structural opening and calculate your door outer frame height and width 'manufactured to size'.
Height
Collect 3 measurements from inside the structural opening reveal by measuring from top to bottom, at the left and right vertical sides, and centre.
Once you have collected all 3 measurements, deduct 10mm from the smallest measurement. This will be the outer frame height ‘manufactured to’ size.
Example:
Left = 2090mm, centre = 2095mm and right = 2098mm.
2090mm is the smallest measurement. Deduct 10mm, and the recommended manufactured to size for the outer frame height is 2080mm.
Width
Collect 3 measurements from inside the structural opening reveal by measuring from left to right, at the top, centre, and bottom.
Once you have collected all 3 measurements, deduct 10mm from the smallest measurement. This will be the outer frame width ‘manufactured to’ size.
Example:
Top = 1090mm, centre = 1095mm and right = 1098mm.
1090mm is the smallest measurement. Deduct 10mm and the recommended manufactured to size for the outer frame width is 1080mm.
