These doors were perfect for our needs.
These doors were perfect for our needs. We wanted dividing doors between the lounge and dining room, but didn’t really want to lose wall space on either side which a standard sliding solution would have done. The vufold doors fold neatly back on themselves, using only one side of the facing wall, meaning we can still use the other side to hang pictures / position furniture. I honestly don’t know why everyone doesn’t use these already lol

We had been looking for quite a while at buying some bifold doors to provide separation between the kitchen/diner and living room. We wanted to be able to provide separation between each room when needed but also have the option of making the most of the open plan layout. Having spent several hours and days searching the internet for a solution my searches kept coming back to Vufold as they were the only brand that could fully meet our requirements. We liked the look of the doors and the way they could be used in a conventional manner or folded back. The style of door was also very good because they were all glass which meant they were very light and airy allowing natural and artificial light to flow between the two rooms so when closed each room didn't feel isolated. Ordering and delivery was a very simple and quick process. The doors were delivered within 3 working days and we were kept updated on process and delivery date. Once unpacked for initial inspection we could see that these were a quality product which were well manufactured. The installation kit included everything needed which was even better. The doors were fairly straight forward to install and everything went together well. Another feature we liked was not having to cut out hinge / lock recesses as these were already cut and ready which was such a time saver. Prior to assembly we applied a few coats of clear varnish to all parts which gave the doors a nice satin sheen. Now that the doors are in regular use, not only do they make a difference to the look and feel of the house but we were really pleased at the way we can now close-off the two areas which has in-effect given us separate rooms and cooking odours in the living room is now a thing of the past. We were also pleasantly surprised by the effect on room temperatures - with the doors closed heating two smaller rooms means they warm up quicker than one big room which is another big advantage. In summary, we are very pleased with our purchase and the final result so thank you Vufold for an amazing product and outstanding customer service.

Doors delivered when requested. All components inspected and all present. Quality materials. Good instructions and all the screws, drills etc required are supplied. Straight forward to fit. My top tip: make sure you get the frame set correctly and the rest falls into place without any issue - I took my time getting the frame set as the instructions make it clear how important this is.
If you're a competent DIY'er then you'll manage to fit these yourself.

Review of Elite Unfinished 1.8M
I bought the unfinished oak doors for a couple of reasons, one being it allowed me to finish the doors with a light finish and secondly as it I was fitting them leading into a conservatory a heavy waterproof finish wasn't needed. The draught brushes that come with internal seal aren't that nice so I'll look for some more aesthetically pleasing ones.

I am not normally one to write reviews online but I have been blown away by the customer service received from Vufold.
Not only are we extremely pleased with our wonderful new doors but everything from placing the order with Dave, through to the safe delivery and installation was incredible.
In the currently quite difficult times it was great to buy from a family run company with such passion and professionalism who have made this whole experience a lockdown highlight.
