Our oak range of folding sliding doors is available in the following sets:

• Every set of Vufold folding sliding doors can be installed to open either left to right or right to left, depending which you prefer.
• Each set of folding sliding doors has a three-point security locking system, plus internal drop bolts, with and without key locks.
• The folding sliding doors and frames have premium grade weather seals and patented high performance folding sliding hardware. They are weather tested to BS6375 Part 1.
• The bottom of the frame has a unique timber sill which incorporates an aluminium sub-sill for drainage.
• The majority of all components are pre-machined within our factory for ease of assembly.
• The door comply with Part L regulations and have a thermal rating 1.9 W/m2K. This helps to keep you warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer, and lowers the carbon emissions from your home.
• All doors and frame sets are made from engineered timber, including a jointed hardwood core, which provides added stability and reduces twisting and warping.
• The glass in the doors is tempered to the latest tempering standards - BS EN12600 and BS EN 12150. Tempered means that it is five times stronger than standard glass and, if smashed, breaks into small pieces like a car windscreen for safety.
• All sets are top hung, so they won’t jam when slightly clogged like bottom roller systems.
• Comprehensive installation instructions are included.
• We also include frame fixings, special lintel fixings which don’t require rawl plugs, special drill bits and screw driver bits. (These are designed for a standard fitting. Some houses, such as timber-framed houses, may need different fixings.)
• 24mm thick Double Glazed Unit, using Pilkington K Low E Glass, tempered to BSEN12150 and BSEN12600 

6ft set (1790mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – three doors

The 6ft set has three doors which all fold open together. Simply unlock the set, open the internal drop bolts and the set will glide open with a gentle push. There is also a daily access door for ease of use.

8ft Set (2390mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – three doors

This set is wider than the 6ft set, but it also has three doors and so operates in exactly the same way.

10ft Set (2990mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – four doors

The 10ft set has four doors. Three doors fold open together and one door is separately hinged to use as a daily access door. Both the access door and the three folding doors can be opened at the same time, to achieve the widest possible opening. Simply open the access door, open the internal drop bolts on the three folding doors and the set will glide open with a gentle push.

12ft Set (3590mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – five doors

All five doors open and fold together in the same direction. Simply unlock the set, open the internal drop bolts and the set will glide open with a push. One of the doors can also be used separately as a daily access door.

14ft set (4190mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – six doors

This set has six doors. Three open to the left and the other three open to the right. This unique design means that the two middle doors can be opened separately, creating a wide double access door in the middle of the set. There is also a convenient daily access door. Simply unlock the daily access door, open the internal drop bolts and the sets will glide open with a push, one set to the left, the other to the right.

16ft set (4790mm wide x 2090.2mm high) – six doors

This set is slightly wider than the 14ft set but operates in exactly the same way.
