NEW PRE-FINISHED SETS

Vufold doors now pre-finished with Sikkens. In a move to maintain Vufold¹s quality positioning in the folding, sliding doors sector, the brand has introduced factory pre-finishing on its comprehensive range of products. Each set undergoes a three coat finishing process using world renowned coatings brand, Sikkens. The first coat uses Sikkens Cetol Base Coat which is applied to every part of the frames and doors, to ensure they are fully protected. Special sealers are then used to completely seal the end grain of the wood, at the top and bottom of the door stiles and at all joints. Finally, two spray coats of Sikkens Cetol Top Coat are applied to all surfaces, inside and out. The final result is a fantastic, durable finish which offers unrivalled protection and which enhances the doors¹ appearance. Depending on location and weather conditions, re-coating is recommended every two to five years, but it is also important to check the finish every six months, and re-coat if necessary, to maintain the decorative finish.
