10 year Guarantee
Vufold Folding Sliding Door Sets and French door pairs are guaranteed for 10 years against the occurrence of manufacturing faults, apart from the glass units, which are guaranteed for a 5 year period. The guarantee is to the original purchaser only and proof of the date of purchase is required. The guarantee is conditional upon following and complying with the Vufold instructions and recommendations for installation, care and maintenance and our home owner’s manual. This guarantee covers replacement of faulty parts only and does not cover incidental expenses.

Double Glazed
All units are thermally efficient with Low E double glazed units using toughened tempered safety glass to the new updated British Standards BSEN 12150 IC2 and BSEN 12600.
Part L
All Vufold door sets are Part L approved. Part L is a section within the UK building regulations that controls the insulation values of building elements. This includes the allowable area of windows, doors and other openings, and air permeability of the structure. All Part L compliant sets are tested to ensure thermal efficiency and lower carbon emissions from the home.
Part J
Vufold French door sets are Part J approved. Part J is a Scottish Building Regulation which means that doors within Scotland are required to have a 10% lower U value than those in England and Wales. A U value is a measurement of heat-loss from a building; the lower the number, the better the performance.
Weather Tested
All Vufold external sets are weather tested to BS6375 Part 1 and include double weather seals to keep draughts out.
