What hardware colours are available?

VUFOLD offer the Folding Sliding Hardware for VUFOLD 44 SUPREME in Aluminium and VUFOLD 54 ELITE in Stainless Steel. Handles are PVD Chrome. VUFOLD FRENCH Doors are available with Chrome and Brass hardware options. VUFOLD 35 Internal doors don't include handles or architrave, as you'll most likely want to match the ones you already have elsewhere at home

What is brickwork opening?

Outer frame and suggested brickwork opening size for our external folding sliding patio door sets to allow room for mastic sealing around the frame (applies to Vufold 44 and Vufold 54 sets).

What is the height and width of a Vufold cill?

Vufold 54 Elite Cill Dimensions

FRAME Depth = 133mm Front to Back

CILL Depth = 178mm Front to Back

FRAME Jamp = normally installed 5mmto10mm back from face of building, with cill on brick course.

Vufold 44 Supreme Cill

FRAME Depth = 96mm Front to Back

CILL Depth = 140mm Front to Back

FRAME Jamp = normally installed 5mm to 10mm back from face of building, with cill on brick course.

Where can I see a set (showroom or sample)?

To see a real Vufold door in your home, we have built a series of mini door samples that is the exact sizing of the timbers and glass used.

VUFOLD mini door samples are delivered to you by post. Available in Oak Unfinished, and Pre-finished in Natural Oak, Hardwood and White.

What is the guarantee?

Vufold External Folding Sliding Door Sets and French door pairs are guaranteed for 10 years against the occurrence of manufacturing faults, apart from the glass units, which are guaranteed for a 5 year period. The guarantee is to the original purchaser only and proof of the date of purchase is required. The guarantee is conditional upon following and complying with the Vufold instructions and recommendations for installation, care and maintenance and our home owner’s manual. This guarantee covers replacement of faulty parts only and does not cover incidental expenses.

What is the U value?

VUFOLD 54 ELITE has a U value of 1.5 W/m²K and the Vufold 44 Supreme has a U value of 1.8 W/m²K. French door pairs have a U value of 1.7 W/m²k.

Can I get Vufold made to measure?

At present all Vufold sets are standard sizes, however if you are not in a hurry for your set please give us a call to investigate whether we can help.

What treatment should I use to finish my Vufold?

What different door designs are available?

Vufold products are available in many different door styles, styles are defined by the number of panes of glass in a door. 1 Lite means there is one large pane of glass in each door, 2 Lites means two panes, etc.
