Our Ultra white 12ft is unique due to the resilient aluminium cladding on the outside and real fashionable oak on the inside, to match interior flooring and furnishings.
This folding door set can meet all kinds of requirements – from customers who want a contemporary look, to those who want no or low maintenance. The external powder-coated aluminium finish carries a 15-year guarantee against maintenance, whilst the oak inside has been finished with 3 coats of clear polyurethane finish and is ready to install without further finishing.
The Ultra 5-door, 12ft white door set is fitted with 44mm-thick triple-glazed units as standard, and incorporates two panes of special Low E thermal glass that are argon gas filled, giving an incredible U Value rating of 1.0 W/m2K, keeping the heat in and the cold out.
Robust yet beautiful in style and design, the 12ft Ultra has 72mm-thick doors and the unique Vufold top-hung sliding folding hardware system for easy fingertip opening and closing. No bottom rollers means no clogging with debris or doors becoming stuck or jammed!
For maximum security, these folding doors incorporate a 5-point Vectis Pas 23/24 lock on the main access door and lockable and non-lockable security slide bolts on the inside.
The Ultra is designed to be installed by any competent builder or joiner, and no specialist aluminium door installation experience is required. As with all Vufold doors, the 12ft white Ultra come complete with doors, frames, hardware, tracks, locks and handles, fixings, magnetic door catches and door stopper, plus easy-to-follow instructions.

We love our bifold door. The whole experience in buying from Vufold has been great. Our initial enquiry was dealt with effectively and from order placed we were soon in receipt of the door. We had other building works going on at our house and it took two experienced joiners a day to fit, all very straight forward. The only minor point is the door handle on the opening leaf which is polished chrome, the other door fittings and fittings we are using elsewhere in the house are satin chrome. A satin door handle would have been a good option for us. A small issue! We are so delighted we now want to change an existing French door for a 7' ultra bifold and are eagerly waiting for stock to be replenished. There can't be a better recommendation than a repeat order!

I love my doors
We are very pleased with our vufold doors we have the 12 ft oak interior and white Ali exterior. We saw them at the grand designs show in 2012 and loved them. However both our builder and architect were dubious about us ordering them as the 'self assembly' part had them running for the hills and neither were keen to take them on board. Vufold provided us with their own chaps contact details and as he lived close by we arranged a fee and he fitted them for us. They look fantastic and our architect is now recommending them to his clients and our builder having seen the quality of the product would be more than happy to assemble them in future. I think however that vufold would probably sell more doors if they offered a fitting service as an option as it does put some people off!!!! I love my doors and am so glad we went with our gut instincts - there is nothing else of this spec and price on the market and we have the best of both worlds with beautiful warm oak interior and maintenence free white aluminium exterior to match our white render. Thank you vufold.
