Homebuilding & Renovating show is a roaring success!

Against the odds of the awful weather the Vufold stand was as busy as ever with over 1900 visitors during the 4 day Homebuilding & Renovating Show last weekend ( 21st-24th March 2013) at the NEC! A big thank you from us to all those that came and said hello whether new or existing customers!

The 3 days of heavy snow could have put many visitors off coming to the show, but it seems you are a hardy lot and nothing was going to stop you visiting, with many of you coming specifically to see the Vufold doors and talk with the experts on our stand.

Our Ultra range of aluminium clad timber folding sliding doors proved to be the winner with many of the visitors and the feedback the company has received on these sets has been phenomenal! To see these doors on the site simply click here

INTERNAL FOLDING DOOR SIZES have changed

In mid January we made some changes to the Edge and Finesse internal folding sliding doors, making them more universal/standard in size and less confusing configurations at the point of order.

For both door ranges the width of the door sets will be:

• 6ft (1790mm) with a 3 door configuration
• 8ft (2390mm) with a 3 door configuration
• 10ft (2990mm) with a 4 door configuration

And to make things less confusing the doors will now be reversible to open left or right (same as our external ranges), without having to specify when ordering. As the new doors filter through, we will no longer offer 2 frame widths. All sets come complete with the popular 133mm unfinished oak frame to match the doors.

If you need a door in the old size they are running out fast so order as soon as you can or alternatively speak to one of our customer service team on 01625 442 889 who can offer further help and advice.

We have recently seen an up surge of calls into the customer service office about products that are being sold and marketed as a Vufold product and the customers are having issues and problems with these products.

A Vufold door is ONLY available from Vufold.co.uk. if you see a folding sliding door or french door branded as Vufold that is not direct from us, the chances are it isn't what you think it is.

As a reputable seller of products to the consumer we feel it our duty to you to give you this information so you are not mislead into purchasing a product you believe to be something it's not!

Vufold product used in Sarah Beeny Show

See one of our stunning products used in the fantastic renovation project of an untouched grade II listed windmill that was filmed as part of the Channel 4 programme 'Double Your House for Half the Money' hosted my Sarah Beeny.

The renovation was ambitious and many planning applications had to be submitted before the go head was given. The Vufold Elite 12FT bifolding doors were the chosen product to fit into an extension build on the side of the windmill.

The programme airs on Channel 4 on Tuesday 2nd October at 8pm. Whether the renovation is complete in time for the airing remains to be seen but you will hopefully get to see a Vufold product being installed into a home of extraordinary character.

Deliveries during the Olympic and Paralympics games, to postcode areas in and around London and other Olympic venues across the country could be subject to delays outside our normal 14 day standard free delivery. Warehouse maintenance and shut down

Due to essential maintenance work needed to our warehouse, deliveries placed after 2pm on Tuesday 29th May 2012 and up to 5th of June 2012 will be on a delivery timescale of within 21 days. Outlying areas of the UK will be slighly longer of 25 days.

Collections direct from the warehouse are also affected.
